About FCC

The FCC is focused on three priorities

New Routes and Fixed Hardware

Since 2003, an agreement between the Flatirons Climbing Council (FCC) and the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks Department (OSMP) has put in place a program allowing for the replacement of existing hardware and the placement of new fixed anchors in the Flatirons.

Conservation and Trail Restoration

The FCC has funded and completed numerous conservation and trail restoration projects in the Flatirons. The FCC is committed to continuing this work.

Advocate for Climbers

OSMP has recognized the FCC as the agency through which the concerns of the climbing public can be raised. The FCC is committed to representing all climbers who enjoy the Flatirons.
